Merry Christmas! from the Bouwhuis Family
This year has gone by so quick! Already Christmas?! WHAT?! We spent the holidays up in Utah with our family there and boy is it cold! We did get some snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! Max got to try out some snow pants and snow shoes. Goodness, it is so funny watching him trying to walk around in those. He looked like a big marshmallow!
He’s so cute, I just love him to pieces! I definitely don’t love the cold, even though it’s not even as cold as some places in then East or Midwest! How do you guys handle it?! Us Arizonian’s don’t know how to layer. It basically doesn’t exist there. Maybe up north where it snows, but not really in Phoenix!
While up in Utah, we went axe throwing! That was a lot of fun! We even got to try out the monster axe at the end! We also checked out the Treehouse Children’s Museum in Ogden. What a fun place! I just wish we could have spent a little more time there! So many fun things for the littles! Max doesn’t know what is going on a lot of the time, but he does love running around and looking at all the neat things!
He loved that little fire truck! There was also a little fireman coat but I think another little boy was wearing it. Oh well. But he was wearing a sweater with a firetruck on it! And I WISH I got a picture of him on the horse with the little cowboy hat! But it was closing so I quickly snapped a picture as we were heading out the door.
We loved seeing our family and cousins! All our family here keeps hassling us to move here. How about we stay here when it’s too darn hot in Phoenix and then we will stay in Phoenix when it’s terrible and cold in Utah?!
Anywho, I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! May your new year be better than the last! And as I promised, the rest of our PJ pictures! <3
Thank you to my wonderful friend Annie for taking this pictures! <3
